A country I'd like to visit is Cuba.






Since when I was a child my dream is know this country that is located in an island in middle of The Caribbean Sea. I like the tropical weather, more with the beautiful cuban beaches, like Varadero, El Cayo, Baracoa, etc. 

I would like visit Cuba because the people is so different to chileans, they are happy, friendly, polite, and more. Another reason is their history, I would like to learn all about their past from the cuban eyes, because nothing is as taught in books.

If I decide traveling to this country, I would like to do backpacking, because this way I would know inside de towns, not only tourist attractions. I want to know the cuban's lifestyles throughout the country. Last year a friend do this and she met Silvio Rodriguez and also she host in his house!! I know that the probability to this happens is almost cero, but you never know. 

I want to know Cuba before the McDonalds arrive in the cities.

    Cubans people are the most extraordinary, I believe that if you get there that would be really awesome and even architecture reflects the way that they are, cheerful with all those colors

Photography

Hi people, today I am going to talk about photography. I think the photography is a very special topic,  because the photography is an art, and always are reason to talk about art. I am a little geek with photography, especially analog photography; I have read a lot books about this topic, my favorite photography book name is “Camara Lúcida” by Ronald Barthes. In this book, the author talks about his interpretation of this art, even he compare the photography with the theatre in the way of take a scene in a determinate moment. In this text also he relate the photography with dead, he said every photography shoot is similar to a gun shoot, with this he said that every time, when someone take a picture of you, a little part of you stay in this picture, the camera take you part of your life. I totally recommend you this book. My favorite photographer name is Sergio Larrain, he is a Chilean 60’s photographer and his pictures are about the people and their interaction wit...

Fau as a social center

Fau is a good social center but has problems, a benefit of it is that people come from all over the country, this allows us to know different ways and visions of life, also we meet people from all social classes, this allows to leave the social bubble in which many are inversed, this also allows political awareness to develop in fau, we are always talking about national contingency, or at least we treat it, but I think Fau doesn't care about the environment, for example, people don't recycle the materials of their models, they don't worry about leaving the Pircas clean, they don't collect the cigarette butts, etc. Fau work as a social center with people and social relevance, but doesn't care about the environment . http://fauivenglish.blogspot.com/

My future job

Today I am 19 years old, so I only did spontaneous works like replenishment, digitizer, etc. Although they are not boring works, I would like work in something relate with my career, architecture. Even though I studied only 2 years in architecture, I fell in love with the social architecture, so I would like work in the street doing social architecture next to the people, I really wouldn’t like be an office architect or make private projects. I see myself in 30 years working with districts or foundations making improvements in neighborhoods, designing social housings, making project to help people. I hope, that job allow me travel to all the country, especially travel to extremes zones, this places was left aside by the architecture ... The The social architecture is required in all the world, so I could travel, know the social problems in the others countries and work for making better through the architecture.
